Soave-East Veronese

The story of the Inama family is a tale of generations intertwined over time, linked to the land of Soave Classico and the Colli Berici. For over sixty years, the work in the vineyard has been passed down from father to son, preserving knowledge that grows year after year.

Beside Stefano Inama, the third generation – Matteo, Alessio, and Luca – continues this journey, carrying on a work of continuity and deepening. In the last ten years, this heritage has translated into precision viticulture, with the division of vineyards into micro-parcels and careful analysis of soils and vine behavior.

It is a story of time, listening, and respect, in which each vineyard becomes part of a larger narrative, written together with the land. The ambition is to make great wines without compromise. The research focuses on balance and bio-complexity: vineyards tended according to sustainable agriculture, soils enriched with compost and worked deeply, older vines preserved with careful pruning and low yields to obtain richer, more aromatic, and intense grapes.

Each parcel is vinified separately, with minimal intervention in the winery, to maximize aromas and capture the unique nuances of each vineyard. Thus, unique, distinctive wines are born that are true to the place they come from, the result of observation, care, and passion.

Over the years, the company has taken shape over eighty hectares of vineyards, spread across two profoundly different territories: the volcanic soils of Soave Classico and the limestone soils of Colli Berici, traversed by silt and red clays. In Soave Classico, the volcanic and basalt-rich soils confer freshness, minerality, and aromatic complexity in white wines. In Colli Berici, the clay and limestone soils, often rich in red silt containing iron minerals, enhance structure and depth in red wines, with grapes that fully express their territory. In winemaking, the aromatic characteristics of each sub-zone are enhanced, highlighting the peculiarities of the different soils.
