The first record dates back to 1583 when G. Gianello was in charge of it. It then passed to the Pompei family and from them to the Ferrante family and their heirs, before returning to the Pompei family and subsequently to the Pellesina family. In 1927, Augusto Pellesina left it to the Municipality of Este, which ceded it to the Portioli family in the 1970s.
