It was built in 1655 by Fioravante Capellari who, after acquiring the property, requested permission to curia to construct a public oratory dedicated to the saint of Padua. Despite changes in ownership and various legal conflicts, the church continued to serve the community of the district for a long time. Among the owners were counts (the Carminati family), a descendant of the famous painter G. Badile, and marquises (the Malaspina Guerrieri family). Today, the church remains privately owned and is opened by the family only on a few occasions, such as the feast day of the Saint, on June 13th.
