Inside the Castaldo Museum, you can embark on a journey through past eras, from the traditional rural world to refined specializations, starting from the roots of our family to the evolution of our passion: the production of olive oil. This space is a tribute to our origins and a testimony to the milestones we have passionately and dedicatedly traversed.
Who were the castaldos?
In the fabric of traditional rural society in Veneto, the figure of the castaldo emerges as fundamental. They were the administrators of estates in large properties, custodians of "know-how" and techniques that went beyond managing daily activities. Their ability to anticipate and adapt to evolving circumstances made them crucial in the agricultural ecosystem.
