Parco Zanella is located next to the Captain's Palace, in the historic center of Soave. Its name comes from the same Zanella family, who donated it to the municipality as an essential and indispensable part of the adjacent palace.

The charming park is characterized by a long and impressive staircase (recently renovated) that leads up to the manor, along with boxwood hedges, yews, dwarf palm trees, and cypress trees. As an additional natural resource, one can admire magnolias, deodar cedars, domestic pines, and laurel plants within the park, a green island enveloped in a magical and almost fairy-tale aura. All of this is immersed in an atmosphere of peace and serenity, enhanced by the ethereal presence of joyful putti. The middle part of the park features terraced areas once intended for grape cultivation, while the upper part offers a panorama of the hills surrounding the town itself.

This is an open green area, an oasis of biodiversity where the environment and citizens can experience active citizenship, training, and culture.

In 2018, the VeronAutoctona association (CTG) created a botanical garden, Giardino dei semplici, an exhibition of aromatic and medicinal plants from the medieval era, dedicated to care and health, launching a broader project of educational workshops aimed at children of all age groups, from nursery schools to high schools, designed to promote ecological education and knowledge about the use and cultivation of plants.
