Monumento ai Granatieri di Sardegna

Historic monument

Lago di Garda Veneto

The monument was inaugurated on June 24, 1867, in memory of the sacrifice of the grenadiers of the Brigade of Sardinia, part of the 3rd Division commanded by Lieutenant General Filippo Brignone.

The monument is made of gray granite, surrounded by a wrought iron fence, rests on a cluster of rocky stone, and consists of a parallelepiped-shaped base with engraved inscriptions and an obelisk. Between the two elements are placed 4 cannon mouths, and at the summit is a cross.
