From Peschiera to Malcesine, every movement reveals a different face of Lake Garda: marinas, beaches, villages, and mountains that come close to the water. You can follow the shore or choose a boat and view it from the lake.
How to get around the Veneto Garda
In the car
The car allows you to reach inland towns and freely choose your stops. Before entering a village, identify where to park: in Lazise, you will find the Marra Parking near the historic center, while in Malcesine, the Funivia Parking is an option if you want to go up Monte Baldo. Always check the access and parking rules of the place you will be visiting.
By bus
The ATV buses connect the main locations on the Venetian shore: line 164 passes through Peschiera, Lazise, Bardolino, and Garda; line 483 continues from Garda to Malcesine. Check the schedules and connections for the day of your visit. If you want to make a stop on the water, also check the Navigazione Laghi services: they change according to the season and may vary with the weather.
By bike
Pedal with the lake beside you and stop in the villages you encounter along the way. An itinerary proposed by the Garda Veneto portal starts from Peschiera, crosses Lazise, and arrives in Bardolino. If you head towards the slopes of Monte Baldo, you will also find trails for e-MTB: choose the bike and the route based on the distance and the climbs you want to tackle.
