In the car

The car allows you to connect multiple villages and wineries in the same day, even when they are far from bus stops. Before reaching a historic center, check where to park: in the village of San Giorgio di Valpolicella, for example, traffic is regulated by a ZTL (limited traffic zone). If you plan to do a tasting, also arrange for your return.

By bus

From Verona, you can reach some of the main locations in Valpolicella with ATV buses. Line 20 serves Negrar; line 103 goes through San Pietro in Cariano and Sant’Ambrogio to Domegliara. Check the stops and return schedules before choosing your visits: getting to a winery or a hillside village may require a short walk at the end.

By bike

Cycling through vineyards and olive groves allows you to discover Valpolicella up close, curve after curve. An e-bike itinerary starts from Verona and reaches the Classic Valpolicella: it’s about 45 kilometers, with ascents, between farmhouses and country roads. Consider the distance and elevation gain before setting off and choose where to stop along the way.
