How to move around the Doges' Plain
In the car
The car allows you to create an itinerary between towns and destinations outside urban areas. If you depart from Verona, the SS 434 Transpolesana is one of the access routes to Legnago; from there you can continue to the other stops in the plain. Before leaving, identify the most convenient parking for the visit you have chosen.By bus
The extra-urban ATV lines connect various locations in the plains. For example, the Express X04 connects Verona and Legnago on weekdays; in Legnago, you will also find the urban service and Scipione, the bus that can be booked via an app for travel in the serviced areas. Check stops and times for your travel date, especially if you want to reach multiple towns in the same day.
By bike
To cycle means to see closely fields, waterways, and traces of rural life. Between Legnago and Villa Bartolomea, a route follows cycling paths along the Adige and the Bussè; in the Cerea area, white roads cross the Valle del Menago. Choose the route that suits your day and stop when the landscape invites you to look better.
