Get to know the territory through its places and stories.
The new appointment of “Let’s Live the Bassa – In the Matildic Lands of the Doges and the Scaligeri” takes us to Albaredo d’Adige, for an afternoon dedicated to discovering the historical and cultural heritage of the town.
The journey will start from the Venetian Villa, Canonical House, built on the remains of the ancient castle of Albaredo, and will continue with a visit to the Museum of Ceramics and Civilizations of the Adige, which houses ancient ceramics found in the riverbed and testimonies of life along the Adige.
The visit will also include Villa Perosini-Fontana, a seventeenth-century complex consisting of the main house, outbuildings, and stables, and the Ancient Customs House, an important testimony to the history of the territory.
To complete the journey, there will be a visit to the company Marchetto&Visentin, retailer of Jolly Mec, a reality specialized for over twenty-five years in energy-saving solutions, where it will be possible to learn more about the evolution of heating systems.
At the end of the visits, a convivial moment together is planned, at the premises of the Circolo Noi di Albaredo.
