The Nutcracker

Theatre, movies and shows

December 12, 2026 / Verona

Love, dream, and fantasy for one of the most enchanting ballets in the history of classical dance.

For its fairy tale characteristics and the storyline imbued with a festive magical atmosphere, “The Nutcracker”: a tale made of sweets, toy soldiers, a Christmas tree, dancing snowflakes and flowers, wicked mice, wonders, a prince charming, and a fairy, has become a ballet that captivates children and enchants adults.
For this reason, it is the most performed show in the world during the Christmas holidays.

The conclusion is marked by the exquisite Waltz of the Flowers, after which Clara finds herself in her armchair with her nutcracker in her lap, happy with this Christmas dream.

"The Nutcracker" is a family-friendly show that never fails to engage the audience thanks to the timeless magic of its story.

The Ballet of Verona brings back to the stage a great classic of the repertoire, with choreography by artistic directors Eriberto Verardi and Anna Guetsman, inspired by the original versions of Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov.

The Ballet of Verona offers a new staging that combines academic rigor with interpretative freshness.
