After the success of "Playing with Orlando" and “Decameron. Vices, virtues, and passions” by Marco Baliani, and "Azul" written and directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, Stefano Accorsi dives into a new, ambitious project featuring the famous and cunning Homeric hero Odysseus.
The Swiss author and director Daniele Finzi Pasca creates a show that is not a simple stage adaptation of a great epic poem, but a journey into the psyche and soul of the mythological figure who, thanks to his ingenuity, conquered the city of Troy after a long and bloody war and managed to return to his beloved homeland only after many years. His was a difficult journey, marked by dangerous encounters and numerous losses, so much so that he was the only one among his companions to return to Ithaca.
Pasca's work retraces the adventures and misadventures of the Greek hero, realizing a profound reflection on identity, return, and memory. His Odysseus reveals all his humanity: he is lost, resilient, a dreamer, wounded, always searching, and his fragilities can only enchant and move the audience. An unmissable appointment for those who love great stories told with soul and beauty.
