Believe Film Festival

From October 15th to 18th, a new edition of the Believe Film Festival returns, now in its 9th edition.

Verona becomes the capital of young cinema for a weekend with the most important Italian event dedicated to young authors under 24. An event that combines cinema, training, and networking, giving space to emerging talent and new audiovisual languages, to bring forth the talents of the future.

The screenings, meetings, and workshops will mainly be held at the prestigious Teatro Ristori and other partner venues in the city, with a rich program that will transform Verona into a large, widespread set.

The beating heart of the Festival is the Official Selection, which this year presents six intense and diverse titles: "Uscito a riveder le stelle" by Sophia Lassi, "Salti nel vuoto" by Pietro Zuntini, "Qualcosa di più grande" by Francesco Guerriero, "Non abbastanza" by Matteo Fraioli, "Dragonflies" by Anita Cazzalini, and "Domani tutto bene" by Edoardo Paganelli.

In addition to the official selection category, there is also the section “debutants,” dedicated to works by directors aged between 14 and 18, the section "out of competition", with meetings with crews to give a voice to those who bring experimental, original, or independent works to the Festival, and the section "Believe Extra".

The Believe Film Festival is a project by Believe APS, realized with the sponsorship and contribution of the Veneto Region and the Municipality of Verona, with contributions from the Verona Chamber of Commerce, the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture, ACEC, Veneto Film Commission, Foundation for the Performing Arts, and NuovoIMAIE.
