October 24, 2026 / Verona

In the heart of the historic center of Verona, within the contemporary architectural masterpiece of Palazzo Scarpa in Piazza Nogara and the Domus Romana, there will be a special opening of the palace and the Domus Romana with free guided tours, no reservation required.

Carlo Scarpa began designing a contemporary architectural masterpiece in 1973, skillfully integrating it into the historical fabric of the ancient city. The restoration of the façades has brought light to the countless details, in deep respect for the project.

The tour path also includes the Roman domus, built at the end of the 1st century B.C. and subsequently altered between the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.D. with the addition of polychrome mosaics, one of the best-preserved examples of Roman architecture in Verona and northern Italy.

Guided tours in LIS – Italian Sign Language are also provided, led by deaf educators specialized in art history.

Inside the palace, the exhibition “Chiare fresche et dolci acque” will also be freely accessible.
