Horseback Riding in the Alta Lessinia! Spend a full day immersed in nature, surrounded by woodlands, mountain pastures and the vast landscapes of the Veronese mountains. Follow the gentle pace of your horse and rediscover the pleasure of experiencing the landscape up close and in harmony with nature.
The ride begins along the Sentiero dei Ladri, taking us through the forest to the majestic Faggio della Regina beech tree before continuing towards the vast pastures of the Lessinia mountains, with endless meadows and spectacular mountain views. Around midday, a historic mountain dairy welcomes us for a break dedicated to the local flavors. While the horses rest, we’ll enjoy gnocchi di malga, carne salà and a platter of local cured meats and cheeses.
In the afternoon, life at the malga becomes part of the experience. Among the pastures and stables, we’ll discover the traditional techniques of milking and cheese-making, offering an authentic glimpse into Lessinia’s rural heritage. In the late afternoon, we saddle up again for the ride back, taking with us memories of a day spent at nature’s pace, surrounded by wild landscapes, horses and authentic local flavors.
