Guided tour of the historic center of Verona in Italian

Guided tours

June 20 - November 1, 2026 · Verona

The Roman ruins that tell millennia-old stories, elegant medieval palaces that seem to have come straight out of a painting, churches that are treasure chests of masterpieces, and alleys that suddenly open up to breathtaking views.

And then the scents: the authentic ones of tradition, spreading through the historic squares and inviting you to stop, savor, and experience. The sounds of the city accompany every step, blending past and present in a unique harmony—the Roman, Scaliger, Austro-Hungarian Verona.

It is the city of Romeo and Juliet, of Cangrande della Scala, of Dante and Callas. A city that is not limited to being admired, but conquers, slowly and profoundly. Because Verona is not just visited: it is felt, breathed, carried within.

Verona is ours, but it is also a bit yours. It belongs to those who experience it every day and to those who discover it even for just a moment—and in that moment, fall in love with it.

This is its story: an intertwining of culture, art, traditions, and above all, love.

So, are you ready to be surprised?

The tour begins in front of the Tourist Information and Reception Office IAT Verona, in the vibrant heart of the city, just a short walk from the majestic Arena of Verona, where history still echoes among the stones.

From here, step by step, Verona unfolds. Along Via Oberdan, you reach Riva San Lorenzo, where the gaze opens up to the waters of the Adige and is enchanted by the timeless silhouette of Castelvecchio.

The journey continues through the ancient Porta Borsari, as if passing between different eras, until reaching the lively Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Signori, where every corner tells stories of merchants, nobles, and ancient traditions, with the gaze resting on the charming courtyard of Mercato Vecchio.

Amid silence filled with memory, you encounter the Arche Scaligere, guardians of the greatness of the lords of Verona, who still watch over the city today.

Finally, following the picturesque Via Sottoriva, the path leads to Piazzetta Bra dei Molinari, where time seems to slow down. Here, overlooking the Adige, the gaze embraces the timeless charm of Ponte Pietra and the evocative area of the Roman Theatre of Verona.
